The
Early Days
Eclipsed (ColdBrew)
and 4 other clanmates from the TestedPositive clan on the quickly
dying L2Etina server joined L2Reborn x3 on it's launch day and made
an agreement to stick together as casual players who weren't
interested in joining a CP as many of the other former members were
planning to do. They spent some time looking for a clan they could
join together with BabySharks clan being their top choice but after
a short while they realized the waiting list was too long for all 5
of them to be able to join together so they instead decided to make
their own clan and ally with BabySharks in the future. November, our
fellow clanmate, then created CivilUnrest and the other founding
members took on the role of co-leaders/officers. We quickly started
finding many more like minded players to join us, including Ramune,
who would soon become our first clan officer who wasn't an original
member of TestedPositive.
November did a great job of
leading the clan for the short time he played and helped us to
achieve some major goals such as getting the clan to level 5,
obtaining our Rune clan hall, and keeping the clan completely full
of new members. However, after a couple of months he decided to
pursue other games/hobbies and transferred clan leadership to
ColdBrew who then proceeded to lead the clan through out the rest of
our time on the x3 server.
Alliances
& Castle ownership on x3
Under the leadership of
ColdBrew the clan quickly grew in size and strength and achieved
level 7 and several clan skills. An alliance was formed with the
PeakyBeavers clan for a while but then a chance encounter between
ColdBrew and Gabe (BabySharks leader) happened and the question was
asked why had we never allied with BabySharks as originally
planned... Soon afterwards the decision was made to move to the
BabySharks alliance (FishTank) and then the leader of PeakyBeavers
created a huge multi clan/ally called UnitedClans that consisted of
between 6 to 8 clans including CivilUnrest and BabySharks. The goal
of UnitedClans was to fight back against LastRide and other powerful
alliances to take ownership of as many castles as we could which was
a success. At this time CivilUnrest took ownership of Schuttgart
Castle.
Overtime the UnitedClans
alliance suffered some setbacks due to being too large and lacking
the organization and unity of a typical alliance. The struggle of
maintaining control of multiple castles became too much for
UnitedClans to handle and soon Schuttgart was the only castle left
in control of UnitedClans. It became apparent that BabySharks and
CivilUnrest was providing 90% of the man power within UnitedClans
and the negatives of being part of this ally quickly started to out
weigh the positives. The decision was then made for us and
BabySharks to remove ourselves from UnitedClans and focus on our own
alliance which was renamed to Defiance.
Defiance was successful in
helping us maintain ownership of Schuttgart until the end of the x3
server. About 3 months in total. During that time BabySharks was
also able to take Gludio castle several times and in the end
we added the Theos clan to our alliance.
Merge
with x1 server
Upon the merge with the
L2Reborn x1 server CivilUnrest, Theos, and TheBoys (former members
of BabySharks) joined forces with the NewOrder alliance and created
their 2nd ally called New0rder spelled with a zero. This was an
exciting time for many CivilUnrest members taking part in Epic
bosses, castle sieges, and huge PVP battles on a daily basis. Sadly
though many of our members had quit playing prior to the merge and
several more would soon follow due to various reasons including the
lower exp rates and mostly being burnt out by the daily demands that
NewOrder placed upon us.
After a short while the
decision was made to leave NewOrder so that we could go back to a
more casual gameplay and focus on getting ourselves more prepared
for the future Hellbound update. With things not looking so well for
the clan and not much success in new recruitment ColdBrew decided to
finally take an extended break from the game...
Rebirth
of CivilUnrest on Reborn x1
(new leadership)
Some time passed and
CivilUnrest became a shell of what it once was, stuck living in the
shadow's of it's past, without any leadership to bring it out of the
darkness. All of the founding members and clan officers aside from
ColdBrew had left the game. That's when Monolite approached ColdBrew
and asked about getting the clan back on track and active again. The
decision was quickly made to transfer leadership over to Monolite
and let him take a stab at breathing some much needed new life into
the clan. ColdBrew then returned to his retirement from L2 (playing
Red Dead Redemption 2) and left Monolite to work his otherworldly
orc magic on the clan.
HellBound
Under the incredible
leadership of Monolite the clan has came a long way and became a
solid home for many wonderful players. With the release of Hellbound
some of the old members returned, including ColdBrew, and we are
having an awesome time killing raid bosses on a daily basis and
enjoying the game together. We recently obtained clan level 8 and
had success in farming an Epic jewel. The future looks very bright
for CivilUnrest going forward into Gracia and beyond.
In the past year CivilUnrest
has shattered all expectations and achieved many more goals than the
founding members could have ever imagined for the little clan they
made just to have a place they could call home.
